New Mexico Mutual in the Community

New Mexico Mutual has a social responsibility to community outreach and involvement, not only through contributions, but also through corporate volunteerism. As committed corporate citizens, we believe we must be leaders in sharing responsibility for the well being of the communities where we do business.

It is the goal of New Mexico Mutual to be a good corporate citizen. That goal is supported by the desire to allow our employees to direct the manner in which the company demonstrates its respect for all New Mexicans. The Community Relations Committee (CRC) at New Mexico Mutual consists entirely of employees from different departments within the company. Each year the committee is allotted a budget to use at their discretion towards charitable contributions. There are three areas of attention that the CRC focuses on:

Benefiting New Mexico children and families

Improving healthcare throughout the state

Providing assistance with physical rehabilitation

The CRC works with a large number of 501c3 charities throughout the state. The committee also works hand in hand with local insurance agencies and their communities to further public relations and recognition.
